| Difference | Dreame A3 AWD Pro 2500 | LUBA 3 AWD 3000 | Better for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rated area | 0.62 acres (27,007 sq ft) | 0.75 acres (32,670 sq ft) | We'd pick the LUBA 3. It covers a lawn between 0.62 and 0.75 acre, and at or under 0.62 acre either rating covers the grass. |
| Slope | 80% (38.7°), a rise of 8 ft over 10 ft. The degree is the published 38.7°. | 80% (38.6°), a rise of 8 ft over 10 ft. The degree is the published 38.6°. | Either model. To be fair, we'd treat them the same on a slope. Both publish an 80% maximum. |
| Trees | LiDAR, Vision | LiDAR, Network RTK, Vision | We'd pick the LUBA 3. Both use LiDAR, and only the LUBA adds network RTK. We'd choose the Dreame if you want no RTK. |
| Cutting height | 1.2–3.9 in | 1.0–2.7 in on the standard 3000. The high-cut row is separate and has no confirmed listing. | We'd pick the Dreame. On the rows with a listing, it's the one for grass kept above 2.7 in, and the LUBA standard cut is shorter. |
| Two yards | Two separate maps; each needs its own charging station No narrowest gap is published for it. | Narrowest gap 27.6 in. | We'd pick the Dreame. It states a dock for each of two maps. A side passage under 27.6 in isn't cleared by the LUBA figure, and Dreame doesn't publish a gap. |
Makers usually publish one maximum slope and don't say whether it applies in the middle of your lawn or at the edge. When a model also gives a lower figure for the edge, that's the one to use there. If your bank runs into a bed or a fence, we'd leave some margin, because edges are usually harder.
Choose the Dreame 2500 if the lawn stays inside its rating
We'd choose it if your lawn stays inside its rating. The 2500 is rated 0.62 acres (27,007 sq ft) and 80% (38.7°). Navigation is LiDAR and vision, with no RTK and no perimeter wire. The cut is 1.2–3.9 in. Two maps each need a charging station. The longer write-up is the Dreame A3 AWD Pro review.

Choose the LUBA 3000 if you want network RTK with the LiDAR
We'd choose it if you want network RTK with the LiDAR. The 3000 is rated 0.75 acres and 80%. It adds network RTK to LiDAR and vision. The standard cut is 1.0–2.7 in. The narrowest published gap is 27.6 in. Zone counts disagree across Mammotion pages, so we'd read that note in the LUBA 3 AWD review before you count on one figure.

Slope, labelled only as far as the makers go
We'd label the slope only as far as the makers go. Dreame: 80%. LUBA 3000: 80%. The 38.7° belongs to the Dreame 2500. The 38.6° belongs to the LUBA 3000. Neither number gets copied onto the other sizes in the family. The hills page converts a measured bank.
