Navimow X430 vs LUBA 3 AWD 3000

We'd buy the X430 for an open acre and banks up to 84% (40°). We'd buy the LUBA 3 AWD 3000 when trees cover a lawn rated around 0.75 acres and you want LiDAR with network RTK.

| Difference | Navimow X430 | LUBA 3 AWD 3000 | Better for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rated area | 1 acre (43,560 sq ft) | 0.75 acres (32,670 sq ft) | We'd pick the X430. It covers an open acre, and the LUBA is the one rated for about 0.75 acre under trees. |
| Slope | 84% (40°), a rise of 8.4 ft over 10 ft | 80% (38.6°), a rise of 8 ft over 10 ft. The degree is the published 38.6°. | We'd pick the X430. Its 84% covers a bank between 80% and 84%, and at 80% or under both maxima cover the bank. |
| Trees | Network RTK, Vision, Time-of-flight sensor | LiDAR, Network RTK, Vision | We'd pick the LUBA 3. LiDAR is on this model for canopy over the path, and open sky can use the X430. |
| Side passage | Body width 24 in. | Narrowest gap 27.6 in. | We'd pick the X430. A gap between 24 in and 27.6 in clears its body, and under 24 in neither published figure clears it. |
| After the free period | Connect+ is free for 1 year on the X430, then a yearly fee. Network RTK is described as free for life, depending on Segway's cloud. | Built-in 4G includes 3 years of data, then a subscription. The price isn't stated. NetRTK is described as free for life, depending on Mammotion's cloud. | We'd pick the LUBA 3 on the free period. Its 4G data is included for 3 years, against 1 year of Connect+ on the X430. |
Makers usually publish one maximum slope and don't say whether it applies in the middle of your lawn or at the edge. When a model also gives a lower figure for the edge, that's the one to use there. If your bank runs into a bed or a fence, we'd leave some margin, because edges are usually harder.
An open acre against a wooded three-quarter acre
We'd pick by your yard. The X430 rating is 1 acre (43,560 sq ft). The LUBA 3000 rating is 0.75 acres. A full acre is outside the LUBA 3000 rating. If your path is wooded, that's why the LUBA page adds LiDAR to network RTK, and why the X430 page still warns that canopy can drop a satellite fix.

Slope, labelled only as far as the makers go
We'd stop where the makers stop. X430: 84%. LUBA 3000: 80%. The 38.6° figure belongs to the LUBA 3000. It's not the computed degree for 80%, and Mammotion doesn't publish it for the 1500 or the 5000. The hills page converts a measured bank.
What each review holds back
The X430 body is 24 in and the cut is 0.75–4 in. Connect+ is a yearly fee after the free year, which we'd want you to know. The longer write-up is the Navimow X4 review.
The LUBA standard cut is 1.0–2.7 in. The high-cut row is separate and has no confirmed listing. Zone counts and the battery line disagree across Mammotion pages. We'd read both notes in the LUBA 3 AWD review before you count on one figure.
