If trees cover your lawn, the 3000 is the LUBA 3 we'd read first. It's rated 0.75 acres (32,670 sq ft) and 80% (38.6°), with LiDAR, network RTK, and vision together.

If you need a cut above 1.0–2.7 in, we'd skip the standard version. The high-cut model is the one that reaches 4 in, and it doesn't have a confirmed amazon.com listing.

Trees and LiDAR

If trees cover your lawn, the 3000's LiDAR is why we'd look at it. It uses network RTK, and LiDAR or a camera. Vision is the camera half of that second setup, not a separate product. The 1500 drops network RTK and keeps LiDAR and vision. That split matters under your canopy, where a satellite fix weakens and a scanned map can still see the yard. How those setups fail.

Cut height: standard and high-cut

The standard 3000 cuts 1.0–2.7 in, which is the one to read if you don't need a tall cut. That tops out too low for a St. Augustine lawn you keep tall, and for summer fescue in the same situation. The high-cut 3000H and 5000H are listed at 2.2–4.0 in. They don't have a confirmed amazon.com listing, so you'll see the plain no-link line instead of a button.

Slope

80% is the slope we'd plan on, a rise of 8 ft over 10 ft. The 1500 and the 5000 publish 80%. Degrees aren't published for those models.

LUBA 3 AWD, Mammotion US, checked Oct 10, 2026.

Makers usually publish one maximum slope and don't say whether it applies in the middle of your lawn or at the edge. When a model also gives a lower figure for the edge, that's the one to use there. If your bank runs into a bed or a fence, we'd leave some margin, because edges are usually harder.

Size and zones

The 3000 is 0.75 acres (32,670 sq ft), which is the size we'd match to your lawn. Comfortable for about 0.6 acres with trees or two zones. how we size The 1500 is 0.37 acres. The 5000 is 1.25 acres. We'd plan on 30 zones for the 3000, because that's what its amazon.com listing says (30 zones). You'll also see 50 and 100 on Mammotion's series pages, but those don't match this 3000, so we wouldn't count on the 50 or the 100.

amazon.com listing; LUBA 3 AWD, Mammotion US, checked Oct 10, 2026.

Edges and the gap

Mammotion doesn't publish how close it gets to your fence, so you may still want a string trimmer along the beds. The narrowest gap on the US page is 27.6 in. Obstacle clearance is 2 in on the standard model, and the SKU note lists 3.2 in for the H version. Cutting width is 15.7 in.

What owners report

In the 4 owner threads we read in October 2026:

Honest limits

Connectivity and support

You get built-in 4G with 3 years of data, then a subscription, and Mammotion doesn't say the price. NetRTK is free for life, as long as Mammotion keeps its cloud running.

LUBA 3 AWD, Mammotion US, checked Oct 10, 2026.

We'd plan on the amazon.com listing for the 3000: up to 12 Ah and up to 175 minutes. The US product page says up to 15 Ah and up to 215 minutes for the series, which is a different claim.

Support outlook

Mammotion doesn't have FCC Conditional Approval for new models, but models already authorized can keep getting updates until at least Jan 1, 2029. You can look up any model's FCC ID in the FCC equipment authorization search.

The Mammotion US store was sold out on Oct 10, 2026. The amazon.com listing was live. Some features on the Mammotion page are marked as not available yet, so we wouldn't count on those.

Two other yards

If you want LiDAR without RTK, the Dreame A3 AWD Pro 2500 is the other yard we'd compare. It's rated 0.62 acres (27,007 sq ft) and 80%. Dreame A3 AWD Pro review.

If your lawn is an open acre, the Navimow X430 is the comparison, with a steeper published slope of 84% and no LiDAR. Navimow X4 review.

Questions

Can the standard 3000 cut St. Augustine tall?
The listing tops out at 2.7 in. If you keep St. Augustine higher than that, we'd look at the high-cut 3000H, whose published range is 2.2–4.0 in. That model has no confirmed Amazon listing.
How many zones does the 3000 have?
We'd plan on 30 zones, because that's what its amazon.com listing says. You'll also see 50 and 100 on Mammotion's series pages, but those don't match this model, so we wouldn't count on them as of Oct 10, 2026.
Will it fit a narrow side yard?
Mammotion says you need at least 27.6 in (70 cm) through the side gate. If yours is tighter than that, it can't get through, so grab a tape measure before you order.
